Self-Organizing Multi-Agent System for Management and Planning Surveillance Routes

چکیده
This paper presents the THOMAS architecture, specially designed to model open multi-agent systems, and its application in the development of a multiagent system for managing and planning surveillance routes for security personnel. THOMAS uses agents with reasoning and planning capabilities. These agents can perform a dynamic self-organization when they detect changes in the environment. THOMAS is appropriate for developing systems in highly dynamic environments similar to the one presented in this study, as demonstrated by the results obtained after having applied the system to a case study.

Multi-agent System for Management and Monitoring of Routes Surveillance
This paper presents a multi-agent system for security control on industrial environments. The system uses a set of wireless technologies and software agents which integrate reasoning and planning mechanisms. It has the ability to obtain automatic and real-time information about the context to schedule the security guards activities. The combination of technologies enables users to interact with...

Approach to Organizing the Functioning of Smart Elements in the Multi-Agent “Smart House” System
A research was conducted to form an approach to the design and implementation of a multi-agent control system of smart elements for a “Smart house”. The system was built on the example of three intelligent robots. In the architecture of the system under development, the main part is the subject-independent multi-agent kernel, which includes the following basic components: direct access service,...
متن کاملAutomatic Generation of a Multi Agent System for Crisis Management by a Model Driven Approach
Considering the increasing occurrences of unexpected events and the need for pre-crisis planning in order to reduce risks and losses, modeling instant response environments is needed more than ever. Modeling may lead to more careful planning for crisis-response operations, such as team formation, task assignment, and doing the task by teams. A common challenge in this way is that the model shou...
متن کاملA Self-organizing Architecture for Traffic Management
In this paper we discuss the use of self-organizing architectures for traffic management systems. We introduce Soteria, a multi-layered, integrated, super-infrastructure for traffic safety enhancement and congestion reduction. We highlight Soteria’s use of microand macro-level models and its hybrid top-down/bottom-up strategy for traffic management. We then present a generic architecture that c...
